Beautiful photos. Will is so grand! So glad you two were able to work together so smoothly after such a long break.

I was out weeding in the yard in shorts and a t-shirt when I looked up to see that wall of gray clouds rolling in. Quite the change.

We'll have to talk martingale. Our dogs wear martingale collars. We'll have to see if they're the same kinds of things!

Isn't it amazing how the animals in a family's life -- even the ones that might be described more as utilitarian than pet-like -- are remembered for so long afterwards? I still remember stories of a blind mule named Old Tobe that my grandmother described and how must have met his end close to 100 years ago. And my aunt still remembers fondly draft horses that used to help with the family's rice farming.

Thanks for sharing these pictures. They're wonderful.

Oh my!!!!!!!!!!!!

Those pups are precious! (I don't need one. I don't need one. I don't need one.)

Everyone here in North Mississippi has had to embrace the mud. It's horrible. I'd almost rather it just freeze and stay frozen for a while.

The bells are beautiful -- although I can understand Will's concern. He'll come around!

The Capital City Men's Chorus is singing some of the words of Stopping By Woods set to music by Randall Thompson at our concert on December 13th!

Keeping my fingers crossed for frozen lakes and downy flakes...
